Lindsay Kowalski is an Investigations Compliance Specialist for the Office of Ethics and Compliance at Penn State. Drawing on more than a decade of experience as an investigator and analyst, she provides investigational support for the Penn State Hotline and related matters managed by the department, as well as assists other compliance partners' efforts throughout the institution. She is responsible for the ongoing development, management, and upkeep of the departmental case management and document retention systems.
Lindsay has previous experience as a compliance specialist with the Penn State Office for Research Protections' IRB Program, and also as a conduct coordinator and case manager with the Penn State Office of Student Conduct, where she was responsible for the pre-admission/re-enrollment evaluations of undergraduate student applicants, contributed to significant student and organizational conduct investigations, and offered education and training to campus partners. Lindsay also has private sector experience performing complex criminal and civil investigations/analyses for attorneys and licensed private detectives.
Lindsay earned dual bachelor’s degrees with honors at Penn State before attending Marymount University to earn a master's degree in Forensic Psychology.
