Athletics Integrity Policies
Athletics Integrity Agreement
The Athletics Integrity Agreement between The National Collegiate Athletic Association and The Big Ten Conference, and the Pennsylvania State University, expired by its own terms in August 2017.
Penn State President Dr. Eric Barron announced that Penn State would voluntarily continue all of the processes and procedures that had served the University during the term of the Athletics Integrity Agreement.
The current policy guiding the Athletics Integrity Program went into effect in September 2017.
In addition to the guidelines established by the University's own Athletics Integrity Program and the NCAA rules, the Big Ten promulgated a series of standards for Institutional Governance of Intercollegiate Athletics. The University certifies annual compliance with these standards.
